Discovering Niagara Falls

Updated: Feb 13

Toronto is a modern, multicultural, and surprising city, but one of the reasons I chose this destination was the easy access to one of the most spectacular natural sites in the world: Niagara Falls . This trip was a perfect mix of urban life and nature, ideal for those who want to discover Canada without giving up iconic experiences.

Practical travel information

šŸ“ Destination: Toronto and Niagara Falls

šŸ“† Duration: 4–5 days

šŸ’ø Indicative budget: medium

āœˆļø Getting there: International flight to Toronto Pearson Airport

šŸØ Where to stay: Toronto (recommended as a base) šŸ‘„ Ideal for: curious travelers, couples, first trips to Canada

Toronto: What to see in the city

Toronto is a city that is easily discovered on foot or by public transportation.

Among the things that struck me most:

  • Downtown Toronto and its neighborhoods

  • CN Tower , symbol of the city

  • Harbourfront , perfect for a stroll

  • Hockey Museum

  • Multicultural neighborhoods, each with its own identity

Toronto is an orderly, safe, and very international city: perfect for a first visit to Canada.

Discovering Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is located about 130 km from Toronto and is an easy day trip.

Seeing them live is a speechless experience: the sound of the water, the power and the vastness of the panorama are difficult to describe.

Experiences not to be missed:

  • Scenic walk along the waterfalls

  • Niagara Falls Boat Tour (unmissable)

  • Evening view with the waterfalls illuminated.

  • Excursion bookable here

What I liked most

The contrast between the modernity of Toronto and the natural force of Niagara Falls .

In just a few days you can have two completely different experiences, without complicated travel.
